Welcome to Queer Qissa – a place where a Queer will narrate some Qissas!

In an age where conversations on the ‘dating’ apps often start with “Any dick pic?”, I’ve decided to take a different route. I’m not here to flash my body or market my genitals like they’re trading cards. There are enough showers, seekers, and scrolling thumbs out there for that.

I’m here to bare something else: my soul.

This blog is about what it feels like to be a gay man – the messy, beautiful, often confusing emotional landscape that comes with it. It’s about the quiet questions we ask ourselves late at night. It’s about solitude, depression, anxiety, joy, desire, love, lust, heartache, and heartbreak. It’s about the real stuff! The things we sometimes feel we can’t say out loud.

I’ll be writing stories here. Some will be short, others long. Some fictional, some deeply personal. And somewhere in between the lines, you’ll start to see my story unfold too.

So, if you’re game for something a little deeper, a little more vulnerable, and a little less filtered — this is where it all happens.
